Throttled Afrihost regular user?

I've just been reading a few of the posts in these "uncapped" mega-threads and I'd like to know if anyone else who is NOT on an uncapped account but does have a 4096 line is getting throttled on torrents?

I have never downloaded more than 10GB's in a month and have no real ambition to, but I do have a 4096 line for the times when I would like to pull down large files using P2P, yet I find myself being limited to on average 30-50kB/s.

This is bullcrap. Why must I suffer bad service because some people are abusing the system? I'm really not happy about this.

Life is not fair & I don't think you'll find a solution short of switching ISP or waiting for things to calm down or get fixed. You can shout at your ISP though if it makes you feel better.

Otherwise grab an extra gig or 2 from another ISP and use that.

Also make sure encryption is switched on for the torrents.

I see that Axxess has some R28.50 per GB basic account. Any one confirm if they are throttling torrents on there?
