Toll gate and bikers

Why do Bikers do this? I cant speak for anyone but myself, but I refuse to pay the same as a Double cab Ford Ranger for instance, just as the next guy in his Double Cab Ford Ranger would not like paying what an Truck with Horse and trailer has to pay... I will start paying tolls when they charge me half of what a car has to pay. Till then I wont pay a cent... And please do try and be a vigilante and cause harm to me or my bike, i dare you...

All I can say is that it was nice and warm on the inside and I didn't feel the outside cold even with just a t-shirt on.
 
Why are people so impatient? I would never hoot at a biker who takes a bit of time to pay a toll. Ek kan mos sien hy sukkel!

People will cr@p on anything someone is doing. Especially if it is cooler than what they are doing.

I would have been more impressed by a double-dare. Remember that if you see brake lights. ;) :p
 
I had my side mirror broken twice by a motorbike in Bryanston. Lane splitting when all cars were standing still. William nicol is narrow in places and both times I was standing still and my mirror destroyed by a bike. Last time was a BMW 800.

I was off centre of my lane to allow space for bikes to pass, lanes standing still because of robots off. Bike no plates he looked back and just gave it horns.

Don't know why he did not at least stop or apologise for his poor driving. but it seems once the plates come off there is no laws.
 
Bunch of 10 bikers.

Each one stops, gets off, takes off gloves, looks for wallet, pays, goes through. Boom Closes. Repeat x 10.

With that attitude it's only a matter of time before somebody knocks you off your scooter.
 
In the end, it is simple - it is law for bikes to pay tolls, so if they are skipping through without paying, they are breaking the law. Doesn't matter if a bike takes up less road, or if you inconvenience people behind you, etc.

Subjective opinions are, unfortunately, not above the law. Hate the law as much as you want to, it is still the law. We live in a society...people's selfish attitudes need to change.

So just like any other vehicle is required to? Clearly I'm not grasping the complexity of removing a glove. :o
 
While on the subject...saw a biker at Emperors Palace the other night doing the same (skipping through the boom with another car, without paying), and one of my fellow passengers in the car mentioned they are allowed to do so at casinos...is this true? I've never heard of such a rule, but stand to be corrected.

I approach the toll gate with the money more or less ready.

No need to get out of the car and look for my wallet/money

I've been held up like this.

He might have paid and decided to skip the boom because its too much effort to insert the ticket, it is what I do.
