I heard about AndroidLost on 5fm.

Has a web interface and the usual functionality. Alarm, send messages to the phone, access cameras, microphones, gps location, phone wipe etc.

Already used the alarm a couple times, also, you log into the web interface using your Google credentials so no registration required.

What I like about Avast it that it has: Anti-virus, Anti-theft, Firewall and call filter all in one.

I am still using free Avast to locate my phone. It needs a web interface thought, but I hear it is coming.

I've used the web interface. It's standard. But then again the only thing that was missing from the app.

I was using the beta apk from the forum

Try Flipboard, very cool app with many sources for news and a cool way of "flipping" though the pages.

Flipboard is overrated on iOS and Android. Too flashy by half. Same with Pulse. I stick with good old Google Reader. But that's purely imo.

Is there a better Google Reader app for Android btw?

I like Pulse, Flipboard looks nice but I don't like the way it works.

Thanks for this. As soon as I saw it I wondered if the was one for helis, and sure enough - there is :D

Bought the full version for R40 odd. Not many models, but the TRex 450 is taking care of my addiction. Would have preferred a Compass Knight 600E or Compass Atom 500 - or even a TRex 500/600. Considering I had no clue there where sims on my phone I am happy with what is provided ;)

I actually use the rc heli sim to practice co-ordination. I want to buy a Trex 450... But need LOTS of practice! I bought the planes as well but it doesn't offer anything more than the std plane(and grounds), so just stick with that, unless you are bored... :) And physics not to bad either, I can get the plane into a flat spin and recover normally, not bad for a phone app.

By far my favorite apps

I have a 450 that I am not flying anymore. You can take it off my hands cheap if you want. Make some kind of reasonable offer and it's yours :) Just no radio though. Need to keep the radio for my other helis (Compass Atom 500 and Compass Knight 600E).

I used to be the distributor of Compass Model helis in SA. I still have a few kits that I have not bothered to move. Selling them pretty cheap - about half the price of the retail shops. Give me a shout if you interested. I keep meaning to drop them off at Airborne Passion in Bedfordview so he can sell them for me - but lazy :)

BTW: Compass Model helis are quite an upgrade on Align helis. Awesome kits.

Drop me an PM if you are keen. I am in Harmelia, Edenvale BTW.
