TopTV special launched - R299 dish, decoder and installation bundle

Strangely, I heard TopTV got over 120 000 new subscribers, and DSTV had more than 150 000 subscribers that cancelled their subscription since TopTV's launch.
 
I have been to Game, Menlyn today to get the special. They knew nothing about it and still sell their top TV for R499. I tried TOP TV's website too but it crashes all the time. I can't be bothered anymore.
 
Oh and why are their so many christian channels on Top Tv. Most of us are not christians at all. Please is there anyway, I can block out these christian channels? It is not wanted in my home.
 
I did a self- install yesterday and called the 086 number to get activated. The activation process was pretty quick. I actually ran out of airtime towards the end and as I was dialing the number on another phone the agent called me back to finish up! DSTV would not call you back. Top TV are definitely making a decent effort to compete on all fronts.

As for what they offer - at R249 a month the full package beats DSTV compact at R232 hands down.

I tried Game Fourways with the same result. The salesman sent me to PEP. :D. They had stock at R299

I live in a complex that is DSTv compliant only ... how do i go about getting TTV. I’m sure the body corporate wont allow it and I’m just a tenant not an owner....

Do you have a garden area or balcony where you could install a dish facing NW at floor/ground level without any obstructions more than 2 metres or so above floor/ground level within 4 metres? The idea being that it would be behind a wall (and not visible from the rest of the complex) while still having line of sight.

Haven't been on the forum for a while....

Most MUD instalaltions can be converted to include Top TV on the same system (cable) by adding a second dish to the front end of the installation. If the system allows it, the upgrade should not cost more than R2500-00.

For those of you who are unable to get decoders at the new R299-00 special price, all Makro brances are on the ball and do have stock.
