Torchlight 2 - who's getting it?

Man I loooove the new dynamite fishing!!!

Planning to co-op with my friends tonight, can not wait for them to come online.....
 
OK, so now it is stuck on "Applying patch, 13 m left, 39.77 MB left." :(

Been like that for an hour now.

^ And this is why I love Steam, no need to wait for updates and what not, steam does all of that in the background.

LVL 15. Love the game, same game that we know but different some enhancements, totally worth the $20.
 
Okay so I played till level 7, and its clear different strokes for different folks, I can't even see myself playing through once lol... And to the people that compare TL2 to D3...I can only laugh;)

Edit: I'll try again with a different char in the morning, don't like giving up on games so quick, but I get the same feeling I got when I played the first one:cry:

Couldn't agree more. Rolled a Beserker til level 22 with a mate until 03:00 this morning. Excellent game and for $20??? Steal of the decade imho...

Just woke up, will give the beserker a go now, maybe it was the embermage that put me off haha
 
The game is really awesome, as someone already said, this is what Diablo3 should of been, TL2 feels more like a sequal to Diablo 1/2 than what D3 does imo, obviously not taking the story into consideration. Also people need to keep in my mind when comparing, TL2 developement was way quicker than D3, TL2 only had something like 35 people working on the game, they def don't have the finance which Blizzard has, yet they can produce a game of same quality if not better. So I just I hope people will spend that 20$ on the game, Runic games really deserves, and if they can produce a game like this with the budget they had, imagine what they would be making with better financing.

That is because some of the developers of Torchlight where part of the original Diablo 1/2 team.
