Oh for heaven's sake! I am the person who was ripped off by these cretins last week. I am not a competitor, I am a person who could ill afford to lose R6500 to some fake, phishing motherph*&^%. It was "jason" who reassured me my order was on its way, and even directed me to a FedEx site with a tracking number. This is a lousy scam, and has been reported to Adobe and Interpol. If anyone knows the correct people to tell about this in SA so at to get the site taken down, I'd be grateful for the info.
As for the fellow who suggested the credit card purchase could be "reversed" -- that ain't how it works, according to the bank.
The site is hosted in the UK by Webfusion. If you have a case number they might be able to provide you with more info (I have no idea about legal jurisdiction) including the bank account being used, if he is using their built-in payment gateway.
