So, get the unit yet, BlueCollar?
Yes, Mugs came and installed the unit last week. Give me a few more weeks to get a bit more meaningful mileage before I comment.

You'll need to host it somewhere for others to download tho... myBB won't be able to host that size image.
I will put a full article with hi-rez images on Greencars. Patience people.
Damn, how long can it take to see whether a piece of plastic works. It either does (noticeably) or it doesn't.
2 Tanks for fuel should be enough to provide meaningful data.Comprehensive on-the-road evaluations take time![]()
Damn, I don't even Pro-long did a test like that.I'm nearly done with a 5000km test.
ROFLMAO
Any whirlpool effect is lost in the air box, no?
The theory says that the whirlpool effect will cause more air to enter the air filter. That means that, yes, the whirlpool effect is lost, but there is already more air and thus a higher pressure at the air inlet. This should have a little bit of performance gain, but I'm quite sure the gain will be negligible.
That doesn't make sense. Air filters are designed so that the engine's not starved of air even funning full-throttle at max rpm. Supplying more air cannot make a difference - at a given rpm, each cylinder will take in a precise volume of air.
