I used Filebot pretty easy to rename.
Its no longer free but available on the windows store.
but if you on pre Win 10 can find a copy of an older version online

2 years of posts and not a single mention of Media Companion

It scrapes, it renames, it moves it even downloads Plot, info, Art & posters for you. Hell when done you do not even need a Media App to navigate your TV/Movies and just in case you do It has everything in place for apps like Kodi so they don't have to.

Media Companion is a bit over the top for just something to rename files. sonarr/radarr integrated with torrent apps. I have quite a lot of stuff already downloaded that simply needs renaming.

From my sources I never have to rename the show, it's all named correctly, on the past I struggled but now Youtube-dl and script, all sorted.
