Alright
so, i have the BCM4312 wireless in my laptop. And i have the latest Ubuntu installed, Kernel 2.6.32-22 (whatever that means)...
And i installed the latest updates...
When i turn on my pc with my LAN cable plugged in to a internet enabled port. Then my wireless works fine...
But when i start the laptop and it is NOT connected to the internet via LAN (no LAN cable plugged in), then my pc has no wireless.. As in, the option to enable wireless is faded out, so i cant enable it. (compared to LAN plugged in, the wireless starts on its own)
currently i have the broadcom STA wireless drivers installed for my device. This was provided by ubuntu.
I have tried downloading the broadcom hybrid drivers and installing the, but the same problem persists...
Is there anybody that can assist me with this issue?
How can i get my wireless card to activate on boot
Sorry, i know a little about linux, but i am pretty much a noob.
