ok why not just right programs for android?

They do, but this is a bit bigger than some apps. What I find most appealing is the fact that SMSes and phonecalls will still come through on the Ubuntu side.

You play on phone = android, you plug phone into TV/Monitor it swaps the user interface to Ubuntu. So in essance if you on a big screen it looks like a normal PC.

Ah thanks so it's basically going to be a portable pc os on your ndroid device. The will you need to specific docking station (hardware), or does docking simply mean connecting via usb??

It makes sense. Natural evolution of PC. Why to carry laptop, when you can have everything in you pocket.

I tell you one things: I hate gadgets, but this project can convince me to smartphones.
