I just gave up and installed Arch last night on my netbook, I guess I'll just stick to the best.
KDE4 with direct rendering (what ubuntu could not do) and all the bells and whistles runs flawlessly atm.
That is why I put it off installing Arch on my netbook, thought it would be a mission to get everything working, but it wasn't, I'm pleasantly surprised to find that everything was quite straight forward.I'm thinking of giving Arch a go - sound like my kind of thing. However, I am lazy. Hmmmm.
Has anyone tried Natty server edition yes?

Use a VM then?
Ubuntu just "removed" the firmware for the wireless USB stick we use... I just better stop right here otherwise I'm going to go into an endless rant...

It broke my netbook, no way in hell I would let it anywhere close to a server even if its a home server.
By it I mean Kernel.
