Oops sorry. That's R 200 based on the bundle prices.
Damn, I joined Mweb when they were the best and cheapest. Now I'm starting to doubt, never thought I'd say that. They've always been on the forefront of innovation and cost, now they're falling behind. Might have to re-evaluate unless they do something, mweb is the most expensive now, lol.

My point is with Mweb I know I get 500KB/s any time of the day when I download, I know I can Download up to 400GB or use 400GB on youtube, gaming, online tv etc, I know my videos on youtube up to 720P always streams nice, this and I guess some other people might agree is why i'm scared to move to a different ISP.
Telkom "Uncapped" BEWARE !

After getting all excited , I made a call yesterday at the Telkom Direct in the local mall
The good lady there informed me that Telkom will only offer uncapped on the full line speed AFTER hours -- ie "Midnight-Surfer" type setup :erm:
Telkom will have THREE speed throttling steps according to the time of day !
Perhaps RANGER could comment .........
Maybe the good Telkom lady has outdated info ? ( She did check on her internal Telkom Intranet )
Who is correct ?
Needless to say I did NOT get Telkom "uncapped"
Why spin us a load of old crock ?

To be honest there are a couple of government controlled companies that know nothing about their own product. But like you said this lady did read it from their system to you, but yet again things are supposed to change Feb1. Best way is for someone to get this uncapped package and rape it for a minimum of 3 months, only true test I believe.

I agree 100 percent. It speaks for itself that if the system changes February 2013, the system will reflect the current pricing model and limitations of January 2013. So that is what the Telkom lady read. Now how difficult is that? Besides there are credible sources to back up the claim that that the limitations will fall away in February. I am a very happy Openweb customer, otherwise I would have seriously considered this offer. I just feel unhappy for the Mweb guys. Naspers is taking them to to the cleaners.
