Just had a look on OW's website and I couldn't see a single all-in-one (DSL Line rental + internet access) offer? Then again, I may just have missed it - could you post a link for me?

I can think of several but my two biggest reasons for not sticking with them are:

  • Lacklustre Support
  • Antiquated Billing System
As soon as WA came out with uncapped I jumped ship because when it comes to a decent support and billing system they simply cannot be beat! I've also found that in the few months since I've been using their uncapped service I haven't experienced the insane throttling like I used to with Mweb as seen here. Granted I do tend to keep my usage within their guidelines and by doing so I have not had a reason to complain yet. :)

If I am dismayed about one thing is that they no longer have parity with Mweb's pricing in the 4MB tier so if I ever wish to upgrade back to 4MB it will be more expensive. :(
 
The table is wrong. I'm paying R497pm for Afrihost's 4mbps uncapped, not R896?

Aah... I assumed the asterisk next to Afrihost ("Don’t offer account+line package, but do offer line separately") implied the price excluded the ADSL line.
 
I used to do my adsl line with the ISP, but when I had problems on the line, it took weeks to get Telkom out to fix it. Then a bird told me to switch my line back to Telkom. I did this, and the next time my line gave problems, the technician was out next day... to my amazement he told me that Telkom gives priority to telkom ADSL customers... sic
