Under The Dome

Didn't expect the series to be the book so I wasn't disappointed when it wasn't.

The reviews say otherwise. They're critiquing it based on the show itself, not as a comparison against the book...

At least the series should pay some homage to the book especially since Stephen King is involved.

The book was great, typical Stephen King character driven page turner similar to The Stand and IT. C'mon, even the mini-series The Stand was far better than this. Ok, IT was a terrible movie as well I might add.
 
Talk about dragging things out, it is as if they write the show as they go along, a-la Everybody loves Raymond style. It is a great show to watch while playing on the ipad or doing something else. Just follow it out of the corner of your eye and you will get the gist.
