The Mafia Trilogy isn't an actual remaster, it is a remake. I am rather curious, since Mafia 3 isn't that old, why it is part of the trilogy? I understand in remaking Mafia 1 and 2, but why include 3 unless they want to amalgamate the titles and implement what worked throughout. Mafia 3, to be honest, was stumped by 'white' America. This is going to be interesting.
Since yesterday I have read so many people highlight how hard the race was in the first game, uhm, it was rather easy, to be honest, and some are campaigning to have it removed from the remake
That race was the best part of the former trilogy.
So many remakes. Destroy All Humans! are around the corner, and that is going to be awesome.

Yeah people have been complaining about the race since the game was released. Personally i've never struggled. Sure I didn't always win and the car spun out pretty easy if you didn't slow down on corners but the race isn't hard. Always loved it and the mission as a whole. One of my favourites.
They won't remove the race. But they better not make it too easy either with unrealistic physics or opponents. People just need to learn to drive better lol

I assume they'll remaster 1 and 2, and just include 3 to make it the full package?
Either way, I can't wait for it. 1 is still one of my favourite games of all time.

This appeared a little more than a month ago,
Mafia 2 and Mafia 3 Definitive Editions appear on Korea and Taiwan rating boards
Rated for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
and now with the Trilogy announcement, we know that 1 is going to be remade. 2 and 3 will be remastered, likely adding path (or Ray) tracing. Announcing it as a Trilogy comes to me that it will be released in some bundle, maybe, much like with the Halo remaster?
Seeing that 2 and 3 have been submitted to be rated a month ago means that those editions are close to being commercially released.
