Upcoming Games

Correction. Odin Valhalla Rising linked above will be available on PC. Looks really cool.

I see Watch Dogs Legion is out. Ugh I'm so far behind with games. So many games on my waiting list, so little time

By popular demand,

HAPPY N7 DAY!

It’s tough keeping a big secret (and we really struggled to keep this one a surprise) but now it’s official: today we announced the Mass Effect Legendary Edition! We've heard (for years!) your requests for a Mass Effect remaster, so we're super happy to finally reveal that we've been working on a remastered edition of the Mass Effect trilogy.

For many months now, our team at BioWare has been hard at work updating the textures, shaders, models, effects and technical features of three enormous games. Our goal was not to remake or reimagine the original games, but to modernize the experience so that fans and new players can experience the original work in its best possible form. It's been amazing to see the adventures of Commander Shepard take on new life in super-sharp resolution, faster framerates, and beautiful visual enhancements. As game developers, we always hope that our games will transcend their original platforms. Having the opportunity to remaster the trilogy means that the fruits of a decade of our work will live on, and will be experienced better and clearer than ever before.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition will include single-player base content and DLC from Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3, plus promo weapons, armors, and packs - all remastered and optimized for 4k Ultra HD. It will be available in Spring 2021 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, with forward compatibility and targeted enhancements on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. More information to come in the new year!

Meanwhile here at BioWare, a veteran team has been hard at work envisioning the next chapter of the Mass Effect universe. We are in early stages on the project and can't say any more just yet, but we’re looking forward to sharing our vision for where we'll be going next.

BioWare are making a new Mass Effect
Three years after Mass Effect: Andromeda failed to ignite a new sci-fi RPG saga, developers BioWare today announced they are working on “the next chapter of the Mass Effect universe.” Huh! Sure, everyone expected them to announce remasters of the original trilogy today (because chat about them has been leaking for months) but this was a surprise bonus. BioWare give no hints about the new Mass Effect’s plot, setting, or anything, simply saying they’re in the “early stages” of development. While I imagine it’s yonks away, I’m quite excited.

Not many details yet...

I just hope it's not a reboot and that they don't ignore what happened in Andromeda.

Andromeda is an awesome game, continue the story  Still don't get why people hated it so much. Ungrateful bastards lol.

Local game. Didn't know about Stasis 2. The first game was great. It's only coming in 2022 but there's a playable demo on steam

I see Quantic Dream will now be publishing the wokest game ever where words can hurt you and your feelings

Man, you've got one massive chip on your shoulder about this stuff, lol.

Just don't play it if it doesn't look appealing to you.

I find this woke-em up game hilarious actually and I'm following its development :whistling:

I'm a fan of both Ragnar Tornquist and David Cage as 2 of my favourite adventure game creators of all time so seeing Red Thread and Quantic Dream joining forces on this crap makes it funnier.

I was so happy to see Persona 5 coming February 23rd 2012, and knowing that AAA titles are now suddenly priced $70 I nearly died when saw it was priced R979 on Steam. Just another game I won't be buying or playing until 50% discount. SEGA is cray.

Middle-class Argentines must love Steam.

o_O Yasss! Screw Star Wars.. I've wanted a new Indy game for many many years

They already said that the executive producer will be none other than ol' Todd Howard, and they tasked MachineGames to produce Indiana Jones.

Same dev which is producing Wolfenstein since The New Order, and Wolfenstein 3 is most likely to be announced any time soon I have to wonder whether some development will be distributed amongst other Bethesda/ZeniMax studios. I am curious as to which direction they will take Indiana Jones in as FPS is MachineGames forte. As far as I know, Todd Howard has never personally lead a project at MachineGames.

It better be third person like all other Indy games or Tomb Raider/Uncharted. Indiana Jones won't work in first person imo.

Last serious Indy (not Lego) game I played was Emperor's Tomb but Infernal Machine was the best. Looking forward to this

I see Bravely Default 2 has been released to pre-order:

Just hoping its not like number 1 where you essentially play the game 5 times over.

That reminds me, need to finish number 1
