I thought you could use anything as long as it was used on the blackberry itself? Or doesn't Opera etc. use the blackberry apn?

No - unfortunately Opera is one of the applications that has been demeaned to be unacceptable for use on that apn.

Vodacom boosts cellphone Internet access - eish talk about a bugger up!

It seems as if the management at Vodacom are not doing their Job! Any clear thinking person would not have forced users to use something as trash as this without having an opt in service.

Did someone actually beta test this before launching it?
