Good on Vodacom!

Im just feeling for all the older folk who are maybe not as tech savvy as others, but still bought Vodacom Sim Cards to skype, facebook and email.
No one told them of e.g. that nasty 2GB Windows update that could possibly run - they are just unaware of it. And going on pension, and getting an invoice like that....
Very very difficult to recommend Vodacom as an ISP

Stay away from them.

my inlaws made a mistake and it cost her R18000 and I am sure there are lots of people paying for a mistake.
so glad I am gone

Got a contract phone for the kid with Telkom Mobile. Three other lines will be ported from Vodacon to TM as the contracts come to an end.

I"m so impressed by Vodacom that I'm going to buy a prepaid sim for my daughter to put in her Nokia 1100 so she can send me a "Please Call Me" when I need to go fetch her after school.

Of course I'll never forget the 4k OOB trap I fell into...

I think this is real... However, the rep for Vodacom and their willingness to work with the client means I want to port back.
