My sentiments exactly.What a load of wet bollocks.....seriously now,How can they justify these unrealistic extreme price justification.:D
They are getting rich on an uneducated market.If only cell c and 8ta could have an aggressive advertising strategy, vodascum i mean vodacom will loss a lot more than there face.

I really cant believe these people.I personally use vodacom cellular,but changed data to 8ta when they started there promotion.I would go back to vodacom if they matched the defense.

And just for fun,i'm going to get 3 X R15.00 100MB bundles for R45(Yes,300MB!!),when the same amount on Vodacom(R49.00) will only get me 100MB.Happy youtube'ing for me, all at a savings of R4.00 plus 3 times the fun.Hell i even used to switch of my Android HSDPA reception to save on all that auto syncing going on in the background but now have to worry about battery life than data....bliss.Thanx Cell C.

Telemarketer tried selling me a MTN contract the other day, boasting about their R2.xx per minute rates. I just said "but cellc charges 99c per minute, any time of day?" She sounded sad and hung up. :p
 
Vodacom either live with their head in the clouds or they are genuinely out to fleece their customers. Reading the article, it appears they're focused on fleecing. So be it... I'll vote with my pocket.

Pity you can't vote Vodacom "loser of the year" on that broadband survey.

Anyways, I don't get why people are still scared of porting to Cell C. If you don't have Cell C coverage you roam onto Vodacom.
You get the best of both worlds. Granted I don't travel a lot, but I have yet to come across a situation where I don't have signal.
Unless I am in the sticks somewhere.

I ported from Vodacom 1 1/2 years ago to Cell C and I have no regrets.
I have personally convinced/helped 5 people to port from Vodacom to Cell C and still today they have no regrets.

What a pleasure it is to phone someone anytime, any network for 99c per minute, per second billing.
