Hey everyone.

I'm moving to Eagle Canyon in the next little while and I'm currently with Metrofibre on a 100mbps uncapped line that has been insanely stable. I'd like to know if anyone has experience with Vodacom's FTTH service and stability, as I'll be incredibly upset if I move and I end up with service similar to what I had from Smart Village in Waterfall (Frequent disconnects, slow speeds, dreadful customer service etc).

I'm massively into gaming and occasional livestreaming of said games, so having a fast and stable internet connection is paramount for me. Any info on how Vodacom's fibre behaves and what sort of packages I can expect would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Hey bud. Just wanted to know if you moved already and how is the vodacom fibre ?

I'm not him but I live right next Eagle Canyon and I make use of Vodacom Fibre. These days it's great. Earlier in the year they had lots of problems and I was frustrated beyond belief. MyBroadband even had an article about the problems we had. Since then though I've been very happy.

Thanks for the reply bud. I see they have month to month contracts as well which is great. Is there only Vodacom as a fibre provider there or can you choose another provider ?

In our complex we can only go with Vodacom. If they can keep it running as good as it's currently running then I'm fine with that. :)
