GPRS on my phone is dead as well. No mxit since this afternoon.EDGE/HSDPA is dead here in bloem. It connects but nothing happens after that. Sigh...
Things are looking good here!
Yesterday was particularly bad! I had no throughput from around 16:00 till late night! Can somebody from Vodacom please explain to me why is the data throughput so erratical lately?
No it is not my data card or anythong else on my pc and if I call 155 most of the times the voice prompts already confirms my problems.
Regards
Theo
Vodacom - please take the remainder of my contract value - 7 months = R3143 - off my account now. Take your modem back, or if you don't want it I'll throw it in the bin. I struggle daily with your bum network. I don't care what your excuses are, I really don't. I gave up caring months ago. R3143 is a small price to pay to be rid of this crap forever. Thank goodness I have Telkom ADSL and Axxess prepaid.

I'm fairly sure these messages are coming from Vodacom's proxy server, although no-one has confirmed or denied this. I have suggested to them to make the source of the message clearer, but this seems to have fallen on deaf ears.Network Error (tcp_error)

Regarding the error messages I posted about here, which I've been getting on and off since 2008/07/19.

This error seems to be a general error message from the proxy; the proxy was busy, it was unable to resolve the hostname of the website, it was unable to reach the website, the page contains improperly formatted HTML, etc.
If you see this message, try refreshing the page. If a whole website becomes unavailable for an extended period then report that you are unable to access that particular website on 155. The report will get to the right people who can bypass the proxy for that site.
