Status update for Midrand:

Haven't had to refresh any pages tonight. I will need some way of getting my finger away from the F5 now though, any ideas? :D

Thanks V3G and the caffeine guzzlers at Vodacom.

P.S. I hope you bid the frog farewell with a public execution.

Problem loading page - Connection reset problem

Been getting the following message again - last night and this morning:

"The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading."

Only happening to the UK on www.ancestry.co.uk. Last night I thought it might be busy servers, but the same this morning? Get some pages up but not much.

I work off the Zwartkrans tower on internet apn on contract

Your area - Pta North - Hestea Park
Your type of modem - E220 (usb)

Is there a problem in the Akasia(PTA North) region?
From last night my dashboard says "Searcing for network".
My Vodaconnect Lite could connect however I got disconnected the whole time.
And it said connected but I couldnt even browse.
Any known issues?

I live in Amandasig not far from you and I can tell you last few weeks with Vodacom have been a bumpy ride.

Ranging from GPRS only connections , "dead" connections , semi conscious ones , lots of refreshes and timeouts, using MTN SIM's.

The 3G signal strength seems to have improved. I used to get 1-2 bars and now get 3-4.
