What the faak is happening there in Horingkloof? Here in Irene I'm getting :

Download speed : 1204 kbps

Upload speed : 348 kbps

using Vodacom 3G speed test.

*The king goes outside and lovingly caresses the Vodacom 3G tower across the road. :)
 
My current results:

Vodacom Test: 965/346
Speedtest.net Cpt: 770/352
Speedtest.net NY: 156/103
Speakeasy.net NY: 165/84

So clearly international congestion. This is, as already posted, awaiting an upgrade on our international capacity from SAIX.

As a matter of interest, we have 3 breakout points into the internet, Cape Town, Pretoria and Midrand. You'll be attaching to the closest one (Kzn is mostly on Pta). So there will be different loads on the different links due to specific load at that point.

It was working great Friday night, but then couldn't connect again last night (tried between 21:30 and 22:00). Maybe it was during the maintenance period? (Prepaid, Southern Suburbs for the pattern spotters).

I'll see how it goes tonight, hopefully yesterday was just a glitch.
 
The Needle on the Voda Speed test is Stuck

Welcome to VodaSnail here in Waterfall / Linkhills to speed has been so slow for the past week the needle on the speed test don't move after 10 mins + modem is always on green At home Paradise valley things are better but not normal WHAT'S Going On ?????
 
Please where's the nearest Post Cantor or pony express They've got to be faster than Voda at the moment !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
