K, i thought they might have over looked that one. I was looking at running OB till kingdom come.

For the same period as the original would have lasted, so also till the end of the next month from when you bought it.
Say you buy a 1GB bundle somewhere in April and you finish it before end of May. You'll run at that bundle's rate till the last day of May.
seacom is gonna do didly squat for broadband prices. All the large corporations will do their damnedest to maintain the status quo and make more money. Everyone is treating seacom like this shimmering oasis in the distance. I Dont think So.
+1
Some of the CEOs and senior guys in the companies have already said that international bandwidth only makes up part of the cost. Lol.
You believe international bandwidth makes up 100% of the cost?
Radio network, backhaul, systems, installations, support, maintenance, people all cost nothing?
OK, so what % of total cost do you believe international bandwidth is for a mobile operator?
I have no idea. So I post that the heads of the companies have stated that international bandwidth is not their only cost and so we shouldn't expect that prices will come down to 5% of what they are or whatever the latest article in the press is claiming. I have a little ironic laugh in the post because everyone thinks that prices will drop hectically but there are other costs to consider. Why are you chirping me? Seriously. Are we going to get uncapped Vodacom 3G for R300 after SEACOM launches? Am I wrong? If I am wrong I will be so happy that I will run throughout the streets singing...
Then I post that no I don't think that International bandwidth makes up 100% of your costs. Am I wrong again?
Lol. So I don't get what we are disagreeing about? SEACOM is not a shimmering oasis in a desert. Hopefully prices will drop though when it comes online. Looked at my previous post. Looks like a quotes the whole post of the other guy. What I meant was to agree with him that SEACOM won't be the answer to all our prayers...
will the customer get a notification at the end of the month of how much data is carried over to the next month or must the customer track this by himself/herself?
I just purchased a 3GB data bundle on Vodacom4me, but it shows the expiry date as 1 month from now.
Guess that's just something that has not been adjusted on the VC4Me web site?
A bit worried now.![]()
I purchased a 2GB bundle on the 24th April, and it says that the expiry date is 1 June 2009.
