Vodashop disappoints once again...

Hi all

I feel so disappointed in my local Vodashop that I cannot even think of a decent way to express myself about what happened to me the last few days.

I ordered my new iphone 3gs 32gb last Thursday from my local vodashop. They promised me that my phone will be here by Monday the 14th at the latest.

Today is the 15th, still no iphone. All their other clients seems to get their 16gb ones, but I am still waiting.

After the huge disappointment of yet again returning home with empty hands, I started to call the other vodashops to find one that I could take, all the local vodashops belong to the same guy.

The first store I called, call it their main branch with the vodacare etc, I spoke to a lady that told me that she couldnt even order me one because there is NO 32GB IPHONES available from Vodacom's HQ at the moment and stock would only arrive in SA on THURSDAY!

My question now is: HOW THE !@#$ IS IT POSSIBLE FOR THEM TO TELL ME I'LL HAVE IT TOMORROW EVERYDAY IF THERE IS NO STOCK IN OUR BELOVED COUNTRY??

Lol. I have a feeling you are going to be disappointed for a long time.

These days it takes anywhere up to 2 months for our wonderful SP's get stock of anything.
 
We got plenty 32g iphones in stock in KZN... 16g one's are on backorder. I think your store didn't order or sold your phone cash hmmm?

that's funny,when I went to the mentioned shop they told me that they got in some 16gb ones today, but all of them on order :-/ so i still couldnt get my phone!

The main reason why I am so upset is because I'm leaving on vacation tomorrow...

Our local vodashops do not stock the iphones because they say it's to expensive and not a quick seller...
 
The shop you get it from makes no difference, so pick it up while you're on holiday. That way they don't make anything on the sale, but they'll still have to support it :)
 
yeah, 32gig versions are available in Durban. I'm picking one up today.
As user above said, one Vodashop to the next official Vodacom dealer...it doesn't matter. Grab one on holiday.
