Seems to be bigger issues in the Cape area. It's 95% Cape town people complaining. I'm in Vereeniging and my speeds are flawless.

How has the general experience been on AH? I haven't used their network in a long time. Starting to shop around seeing as Vox uses a moderately retarded person to configure/manage their DNS.

I know there are some Web Africa complaints also, who also happen to be in the Cape. Same with Afrihost although im okay. So maybe something happening

What the hell is going on this evening with vox again? Afrihost is fine... getting a mere 3mb on a 10mb line.? ping is trough the roof..

Yeah, can add me to the list of satisfied Afrihost customers! Performance is stellar, just as it was before the MTN merger.
Their 12am-6pm free time offer is simply too good to miss out on! Especially since Telkom have been messing with their LTE accounts!

Are none of you suffering slowdowns or shaping on AH at the moment? I have multiple people giving me conflicting reports. Some friends with capped and premium uncapped are having issues... but then there are others on slower lines not having any issues with premium uncapped.
Seems like the same thing is happening on Vox. Some people are experiencing regular slowdowns and DNS issues, while others have nothing to complain about.

I'm one of the people that have no issues either way, I'm currently testing Afrihost capped and the only complaints I have are that sometimes I have to refresh a YouTube video or live stream after a couple of minutes because it just stops, but this happens very very seldom, and my gaming ping to local servers are 10ms-20ms higher on Afrihost.
I'm not going to move away from Vox but if anything ever happens I won't hesitate to move over to Afrihost.
