wtf are you using that crystal web referral code when you post in here?

Simples: I posted on here as a concerned VOX client (through 3G as they were blocking this website - see previous posts from other users).......... So, I then continued to monitor the situation while I wait for my full refund from VOX.... I since joined CW who are simply AMAZING to understate how good they are ;) ... but I am now monitoring this VOX thread because if they become pathetic and refuse my refund (even though this was all done last month and I haven't used the account this month), then I will be able to use it for my downloads... ;)

I hope that clarifies the situation, or to word it more appropriately, is that Crystal clear ?! ;)

I'm sure this has been asked countless times before so apologies for asking again:

I may have fcked up. I signed up for a Vox fat pipe 200gb account @ R639 per month thinking I would be able to add the uncapped bolt-on @ R59 per month.

Got this sinking feeling that the bolt-on can only be added to a gig4gig account.

Please advise.... :o

PS what I've seen so far in the 20 minutes I been using this account, is that it works as a capped account should IE max line speed on all protocols including p2p!! F...ing glorious considering the s hit ISP's are dishing up these days...

Damn it man!!!! Not what I wanted to hear!!

So what does one do???

I wanted to avoid logging in different routers settings every night...

So no choice but to get a gig4gig with bolt-on?

So 1gb @ R15 plus R59 for bolt-on?

Once that 1gb is used is the account automatically capped or does it continue to function with a fat bill for OOB come month end?

No.

The gig4gig has a once off setup fee of R50. You then get 1GB free every month for life. So R0/month after once off fee.

The bolt-on is also once off setup fee of R50, manual order and setup. It is however R59/month there after.

As for after getting capped after 1GB, the account starts working again 6pm and stops working 6am.
That said, default settings is, they allow you to use up to 10GB after the 1GB cap, and bill you after the fact. You have to log in to the customer zone and disable that, or take it down to allow going 0GB over after the 1GB cap, so that you must top it up before it allows access again during the day.

Okay, perfect!! That's doable!

What would my username and password to log in on the Vox site be? The same username and password they sent me to connect to the internet via my router settings?

I tried and I'm not getting in...

No, it are different - and requires an OTP (overkill imo ) to login

Phone them, trust me on this.

Okay, sorted with log in details.

Their site is a bit painful to navigate.

Anyway, cut a long story short I purchased a gig4gig account but only see 'enquire now' option for the bolt-on!! WTF am I missing here?!

When completing the online form for gig4gig I at no time saw an option to add the uncapped bolt-on!!

Use the enquire button to ask them to enable it. Manual process.

How does the bolt-on stack up to the capped account performance wise? Not the gig4gig but the regular capped?
