Vox Telecom Fatpipe

Sorry for the cross post, but these are literally two threads about the same thing (maybe even have the threads combined?)

Have had the worst weekend ever Internet wise, erratic where everything used to be perfect

Cannot get sites to load, timeouts etc.

Here is the tracert, does this look like a Vox issue?

This account was working great up until now

I only seem to have the mybb issue during the week from 6pm. Weekends are normally fine for me.

Signed up with a capped account from WA in the meantime.
Could you send me your account number and contact details in a PM and we will contact you shortly.

Regards,
Voxy

My vox fatpipe randomly just stops working (It still shows internet access), and within 2 to 3 minutes everything works fine again. But it is a bit irritating as sometimes I am busy with a download which crashes. Very dissapointed in my fatpipe lately

Hi Moklet,
We will investigate this for you. Could you send me your account number and contact details in a PM and we will contact you back shortly.

Regards,
Voxy

How does one downgrade to a lower number of monthly gigs, but stay on FATPIPE?

There's an AMEND RELEVANT CAP button, and a CHANGE PACKAGE button - which are both quite cryptic. I'd like to downgrade from 100GB FATPIPE to 50GB FATPIPE without wiping out my current rollover gigs balance.

Did you manage to downgrade your account over the weekend?
If you would still like some assistance, send me your account details and contact number in a PM and I will assist you with this

Slip, same here since the weekend, using Webafrica 1gb account to post this

Seems to be working again

Hi,

Yes it is normal :)

When did we have to start RICA'ing with ADSL? this is a 1st for me..... annoying as hell though

this is the 1st ISP i have had to do this with and i have been with afrihost, axxess, openweb and digichilli <- remember them lol

When you RICA, what are you referring to?
Having to provide proof of ID/Address/Ownership of ADSL line (Telkom account required if you want to move your line to another ISP)???

If this above is what you are referring to, then, YES.... You are required by law (FICA... not RICA) to provide these, especially when being "financed".

It's quite the norm ;)

Fuk noooo! TK didn't do it, Access, didn't, Neotel didn't do it, neither does AH. I don't have the faintest idea what that RICA thing even is.

Think I had about three days to get my new account RICAed with Connections, or else it would be locked down.
