Vox Telecom Fatpipe

Strange, my mybb is working tonight on the VOX account, haven't tested earlier than now tho.

Latency looks better, its not perfect, but its better.

We are experiencing localised issues is certain areas and are working hard to resolve it.
We’ll provide you with feedback shortly.
Thanks for your patience.

I'm sorry but are you being serious? "localised issues in certain areas". Can you be anymore vague? How about some transparency from Vox for a change.

Yeah this is on and off...capped account ...goes along nicely.....as soon as 6pm hits and I switch over to uncapped I cannot connect to mybroadband etc.
Funny thing though....when I use Opera Browsers "Turbo" function, making use of a proxy then I can reach the sites.
I can also confirm that the help desk is incompetent at best IF they even get back to you.

Doesn't Opera Turbo use Opera's servers to transfer the data?

Dead again in PE.

Downgrading to 50gb package tomorrow.

Then cancelling at month end if still not resolved.

Worst performance I've ever seen. Makes TI and AH problems seem like a walk in the park.

Dead in Cape Town - no MyBB, no Google Play, SpeedTest 2 meg on a 10 meg line...

Oh yes, thanks to one of the other MyBB members - Opera (Turbo mode) permits access to MyBB

Yup. CT DEAD again!

6 O clock sharp...same issue. 3 mails to support 1 "we will revert" 2 more emails not 1 reply.
This is total BS service.

It seems so

Use Opera in Turbo Mode to reach MyBB

Yes very cool feature if you have problems like CPT guys are having with slow speeds and sites not accessible. Its like Opera Mini but just for your pc. Opera is my main browser and is so much faster that firefox and has a awesome speedial home screen with all my frequent sites.

Yeah, same.
I've been using Opera as my main browser since 2006 - back in the days of vlive ;)

Wonder who remembers that xD

It is soooooooooooooo frustrating - everything flying along now

Speedtest - 7.92

All websites accessble even ones that weren't earlier.

I don't know if it's something I did (changed the DNS servers to OpenDNS) or something Vox did...

and ja, SO was complaining this evening - had to link her ipad to hotspot on my iPad :(

Can only conclude that some dimwit screwed up the routing configs for the uncapped so badly that they're unable to unravel what was done and don't have backups of those particular configs

Yeah I remember.
Been using Opera for a while as well.
Recently switch to Opera Next which is the beta of the "new Opera browser"

In any case......I'm seriously considering dumping Vox now. There is virtually no support.

Anyone know if it's possible to stay on Fatpipe instead of switching over to the bolt on at 6?
I would gladly use my capped portion while they sort this out, sitting on 300GB surplus :O

Just be careful - it seems that their Fatpipe admin is borked as well.

Some people have found that even though they have plenty of surplus, if you use up the current month's allocation, the system autmatically caps you and you have to phone them to uncap you based on your surplus. :(

Also, if you cancel the Bolt-On I don't think you'll ever get back again :(

Trying to finish my cap before the end of the month. Speeds were fine then just took a dive, anyone else seeing slow throughput in Cape Town? Especially on international.

Maxing out at around 500KB/sec on a 40Mbit line :/
