Vox Telecom Fatpipe

Constantly up/down here in CPT on Fatpipe. Down for about 10-30 seconds, then up again. Speeds whilst up vary from 0.8mpbs to 10mbps (on a 10mbps line). Highly unreliable.
 
Flying this morning. Let's see how long it lasts.

Got 15Mbps to UK speedtests.

I've been using a promotional 40gb fatpipe account for about 6 months now, the last month or so I've been getting the error message about cap exceeded. I still have 8gb left on the account.
I've emailed the support staff, they have called me back (at least 4 times), the issue was never really fixed. On one occasion after someone helped me over the phone, the account worked for a few hours, then it went back to the same error message.
I asked if it was because my account is promotional, they said no, it should be working.

Is there anything I can do. I only want to use the account on weekends to stream some stuff :)
 
I know other ISP's had issues this weekend with widespread Telkom network, metro Ethernet and general upgrades. Perhaps that is affecting some users more than others in certain areas ?

My Fatpipe is running fullspeed today in PE. NNTP, Netflix etc. Will continue to monitor.
 
NNTP shaped to hell. Running at 21KB/s on a 10Mbp/s line.
 
Was bad in PE for me last night - grainy less than SD Netflix and webpages timing out.

Will continue to monitor - first issues I've had in weeks. (DBN okes stop hogging the bandwidth!)

Had to use WA, Netflix went straight back to HD.

Edit: Internet connectivity in SA is a cr@pshoot.
 
The only issue I currently have with Vox is App Store and Play Store downloads run at extremely low speeds on a 10Mbps line.

Downloading Fedora now, 20Mb/s line and only getting 500KB/s

Had a massive spike now.... 668KB/s
