Vox Telecom Fatpipe

Well, customer support do not know what HTTP or tracert means.

No help from them this week despite phone calls and emails. I pay by card, from what I understand I can cancel at any time.

Guess I'm giving crystal web a shot.

Only reasonable explanation I can think of is either their shapers failed or misconfigured or they just plainly have capacity problems. Connection to other ISP's are poor and even the speedtest to telkom ftp is almost non existing.

They suck plain and simple. Tell them WebAfrica works fine on everything theirs does not, no its Telkom fault. They can't and don't listen. Can't do jack again today, not seeing a cent of my money.

I really don't want to cancel my account. I have an open service request for the packet loss to Hetzner. If not resolved by the end of this week I'll have to jump ship and loose 1.2TB data that was accumulated.

1.4TB here mate. They can shove that cap and some other fool can get it. Took 20min now to DL 1.2MB windows update. Switch to WebAfrica and 120MB in 5min.

Yeah I know. Got accounts with just about every ISP known to SA and all of them outperform Vox at this stage. Time for them to own up to what the actual problem is! The lack of communication isn't doing their brand any favours.

Same here

@voxy the generalised cape town problem of 2014 appears to be back and your tech support appear to not have any relevant information about this issue

I Couldn't even log onto MyBB. Speedtest.mybb worked perfectly but looks like its hosted elsewhere (Teraco)
Strangely though, international sites seem to be reasonably quick. Mostly local services. But torrents was a kill.

MyBB completely dead on VOX. Had to VPN to work to post this.
Why they cant fix simple thing like web access to site is beyond me. Maybe to many bad posts lol?
International speeds seems reasonable. Why local access slower?

Interesting find, now MyBB working. Maybe posting on here does help.

When myBB almost non existing - check hop 11

I got an email from support this morning stating that the packet loss to Hetzner(MyBB) is now completely sorted out. From my tests it seems like it is.

You might try rebooting all switches and routers as mine only came right yesterday after doing that.

Good Day Everyone,
We have taken note of the issues you are currently experiencing with Fat Pipe.
I've escalated this and our engineers are busy investigating this :)

Thank you for your patience :)

Yup. Same issue here with VERY sluggish traffic on Fatpipe product at the moment. Thanks for looking into it
