Vumatel is altering their package deals and prices.
Not all ISPs have made the changes on their websites (yet), but it is obvious.

Change 1: New 25/25Mbps package
Vuma is introducing the 25/25 Mbps package.
So far, some ISPs have made the changes present on their catalogue, but Vuma officially made the new package available on their site.

*A lot of ISPs 25/25 packages are priced at R449, but that may be provisional (whether it is legal or not) until an official price is established.

Change 2: Price changes (increases with big ISPs:crying:)
Sadly, doing a comparison of one of my own breakdowns, I noticed on the 200/200 package that the price for that package has increased by +- R100.00
e.g. Around May this year, Vox's 200/200 package on a Vuma line was R999 p/m.
Now, however, it is R1099.

RSAWeb also went up, but their increase for the same line and speed was only by R90.

Cool Ideas went up by R70 from R1099 to R1169.

Should this price not change, RocketNet surprisingly went down!
In May, their 200/200 was R1045, now it appears to be R979 (touch wood).

Supersonic offers R689 p/m for the first three months, then for month 4 you pay R995, which is still less than the big guns' packages.

I've been on the 25/25 package since Jan with rocketnet(R439 pm)

I wonder why or how other ISPs haven’t jumped on the 25/25 package until recently?

Are you paying the same amount now since January?

The 25/25Mbps Vuma service is area dependent yes, as determined by VUMA
Krypton Web also has had the 25/25Mbps since early this year at R449 per month
Ps. We have/will not be implementing any VUMA price changes in the last/upcoming months
