I got it installed in like 10min but I can’t create an account. The image authentication doesn’t load, anyone got it working?

good HDD and DVDrom speeds? 
antivirus apps kan also slow down the insatll as it checks the files.
Im gonna start installation in a bit, just need to move AoC outa the way to make some space, heehee.

Well, the patch I am downloading now is 815MB. Bit shocked really. Thought the patching was just gonna be 200MB or so. Apparently there is a second patch as well (which is the 200MB one) after you download the first patch. Was hoping to check it out just now, but now I have to wait like 6 hours meh. Guess there is no point getting upset over it, won't change anything. Just have to wait it out.

Not sure how they do the patches, but there were two smaller patches since the 200MB one, At least from installing from the downloaded client. They were pretty small though
Just a question here for any other people that created their account on war-europe.com. After you entered the key successfully, and got the confirmation email, could you (in the "my account" page on the website) edit your subscription, licenses, etc details? For me it was still grayed out, even after adding my key and getting confirmation. So I can't actually specify my credit card details for the subscription now. I am wondering if it only becomes active after the 30 days free period or what?

77% done with the 815mb patch, hope there isnt another patch
I dont think they have got to that particular section on the site. Like you couldnt even login over the past few days. As long as you received a confirmation mail then thats all you can expect. It actually makes a change that you dont have to punch in your card details to get yourself going. I wouldnt guarantee any game time cards any time soon - looking at the launch.

The US website, is of course much more functional and was done years ago
, if you had a DAOC account you will just add your warhammer license to that....nice simple website. You know back when I jammed Daoc,Goa was a seriously slack Organisation.They were terribly lackluster and always behind schedule.
Europe was constantly 3-6 months behind the US with regards to patches because of Goa dragging their feet.They had a dodgy flash based Accounts web page which gave me endless hell.Minimal Feedback to the Euro Community
It's beyond me why Mythic have chosen to Keep using their services.
I get the distinct feeling that Mythic is the kind of company that remains loyal to the business associates that were involved in its previous success in Daoc, which is commendable ,but now with the recent Open Beta Registration Fiasco!. (which everyone predicted weeks before! )Goa have really destroyed a lot of the trust Mythic had in them and taken
advantage of that Loyalty.

Mythic have done this for a reason, there are many pro's and cons to not having an official Forum,I believe not having one is the right choice.

OK. There is only the 815MB patch for those interested. I downloaded 815MB patch and was in the game after it. I guess for those with headstart and beta clients the patches will be smaller. I played for about 45 minutes (witch elf) and it is damn cool. I have been following the forums and people go on about shoddy animations and combat "clunkiness", but I didn't experience that at all. Overall the game feels very solid and enjoyable. Can't wait to get into it more and feed the addiction.

Especially once you start taking damage and you get interupted/casting is pushed back... the animation still goes on, but you're not actually doing anything....once you start stringing up multiple instant casts and a slow cast together it gets even more confusing
. It's not that bad, but on my Zealot [uber healer class] i totally mistime stuff because i see my char still casting / not casting .
