Web Africa going uncapped finally

rolling windows on costs that high? that's surely having a laugh.

and i agree that there is a market in the gold uncapped space that is being ignored by other ISPs
 
Sheesh, hope they don't !! or maybe it's a good thing.
for the past couple of months its been up and down. Today it was really good during gaming, but then all of a sudden WebAfrica hits a wall.. you tube slower than dial-up , gaming kark etc..

Can only imagine what the uncapped accounts will be like ...

The situation we have is that traffic during business hours costs us significantly more (due to paying for the full pipe, but only using it 8hrs/day)
Home users are looking primarily for data during the evening/night, but still need some capacity during the day.

Our intention is to change the package to allow for this, without complicating this for the average user, but still allowing some flexibility (for example, through add-ons like Download Plus) for the more technical or higher end user.

I will provide the specifics of the pricing and traffic allocations as soon as we're ready to roll it out.
 
Has webafrica somehow gotten peering links with mweb again? I know telkom proper has not. My office uses mweb and I need to switch ISPs whenever I need to access the VPN, annoying.

We have full peering on a CINX level, we're in the process of testing peering on a JINX level. Nothing is official just yet as we're testing stability. Will have an update for you guys as soon as I have confirmation of things going live.

Should another offer like the Titan packages come along, how easy would it be for me to upgrade from my existing Titan 1 account...hypothetically speaking?
