Also seeing some weirdness on my end. Some sites are unaccessible as well.

Vuma Aerial, Roodepoort.
Something seems off. Zoom refuses to load without a VPN. Pages like https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201800359-Zoom-Cloud-Service-Status refuse to load.

We’re seeing one of our transit providers just withdrew. Still seeing some issues. We’re investigating further.

Edit: Provider didn't correctly withdraw onwards prefix advertisements. We've manually forced this and traffic has restored.

Tried out Wireguard from my London VPS. Pings obviously aren't Singapore level, but it really flattens out the latency to the rest of Europe:

Playing there still has micro bursts of lag though. I suspect the EU servers are completely overloaded.

Have the same issue in Sunward Park Boksburg, but the forum is quiet

Lots of people on our local WhatsApp group moaning, seems it might be an east rand thing again

Linkafrica ( at my office) seems unaffected

Vumatel have issued a NWI. Power related outage in the Northgate/Northriding area.

@websquad not sure if you are aware of area outage in Irene, Centurion on Openserve since this morning. Would appreciate if you can confirm if they are aware of the issue

Evening, apologies for the delayed response. I see this was restored earlier this morning? We didn't receive an outage notice, but they were aware of the issue when escalated.
