Thanks to @luckystrike for his excellent Wireguard Vultr guide, I setup the same. Apex has never been better :)

I used Netlimiter and from that I've made a list of all the servers IP's that Apex connected to in the Singapore region over the last 2 months.

I setup a wireguard VPN connection from my firewall to my Vultr server, I then setup a split route for these ip's via this VPN so only Apex traffic would utilise it.

I haven't had any issues with high ping games (Normally 130ms to 140ms from KZN) using this list in over 4 weeks, this includes playing Trios, Ranked & Arenas.

@websquadza I was hoping you can utilise the IP ranges I've listed below and update your routing so we can all share the love. I'm a PC Apex player so I'm not sure if this list would be of benefit to console players.

Any idea where D3 is hosted or what service? Not seeing any issues on transit or Ekurhuleni Vuma. Will check other servers we monitor and see if I pick up something.

Hello,
Happy to hear that you got it working!!

What router/software are you running?

I have a pretty nice setup with OPNsense with my vpn connection on the router and GeoIP routing to singapore! So that only my Singapore data goes over my vpn.

Have a look if you want @
https://docs.opnsense.org/manual/how-tos/maxmind_geo_ip.html

Then you do not have to jump around with random ip's that needs to be updated for your own use.

You might just want to give ExitLag a shot for a month and see how it works for you, it works really well for me. Getting 158ms on EU servers from JHB.

@websquadza planning to move soon. One of the potential houses is on a shared property and if the other house already has fibre, is it possible to have 2 fibre installations on the same property? Openserver is the FNO.

That shouldn’t be a problem. Our FTTH team can apply for a second premise to be created. Just drop them a ticket and they’ll sort it out as soon as you’ve decided on the property.

Did you manage to get an IP here?
@websquadza Yes and no
This is what i could get 185.60.112.157 185.60.112.158, but then again which one i connect to is a mistry?
From the attachment you coul see the latency varies to a degree.
High on after startup and while later lower one.

Thanks for this feedback. Looking at latencies out of JHB's core, these IPs are 178ms away. Which FNO and area are you? You can confirm this with a WinMTR test. I also checked this IP against several other looking glasses and the latency is about the same out of JHB. I'd venture that the 7ms you're seeing on top of that is related to last mile and processing overhead. Are there no other servers you can connect to?

Both these IPs originate on the same subnet and are likely in the same DC and we're not seeing any losses to either of these IPs.

My WinMTR a couple of minutes ago.
Connecting to Asia server latency 400ms plus

Then connecting to Americas 266ms latency

FNO is Vuma trenched Springs

Seeing good latency on both those servers. .158 dropped a packet or two at the end there, well into that network - so likely server or ICMP not responding there.

Americas sounds right at 200+ and Asia is the tricky one - depends entirely on whether the servers they used are hosted on one of the major cloud networks (who handle their own routing) or a HE client (their network has much higher latency, and they peer everywhere globally, making their path look shorter) or someone who peers openly in Singapore (which we'll then pick up).
