Edit: Testing with a LAN cable to the Vuma CPE, seeing full line speed this side. Their handover server seems fine. Can you run 2 tests, connected directly to the CPE, from two computers (if possible). Vuma logs MACs of each and every test. As long as they don't see a router MAC in the results, they will be quicker to respond. Update your ticket with these results please. Likely a dying optic and easy to fix.
Oh yea, I opened a ticket about that last year, forgot about that. Added it onto the todo for tomorrow, CPE is in a stupidly awkward place after the furniture was rearranged >.<

Apologies for the late follow up here. Been checking this IP through today, seems to be clear. Still seeing the same issue?
I think I'm losing my mind. Next to nothing is working tonight. I can't figure it out... Can't access Gmail, DNS queries seem to be failing.

Seeing any obvious packet loss? I’d recommend opening a ticket so we can check your line and assist.

No. It feels like a failure on my side. The only thing I've done is upgrade to routeros 7 recently.

I'll need to spend some time diagnosing. Maybe my Mikrotiks config has gone haywire.

We’re seeing some oddities in tests when upgrading v6-v7- specifically with different routing protocols. My advice is to wipe your box clean, start with a vanilla v7 config and build your setup on that.

Yea, this is what I did this morning.

It seems that there's an issue with the way DNS servers are being used. Can't figure it out, it's driving me nuts - some clients work fine, others not!

To update this .. after hours of frustration, I have found the issue. It appears the pppoe interface was not on the interface list under WAN (only ether1 was). The masquerade rule used the interface list, and, for whatever reason this seemed to work fine for the past forever. I'm not sure what changed yesterday that necessitated this change but as long as it continues to work, I'll be happy :-)

Also seeing slow speedtests on my side, gone are the local speedtests of 900+ Mbps, hovering in the 200Mbps range.

Also getting some weird lag in Apex Legends as well on European servers, can't quite put my finger on it as it's intermittent..

Also, traffic to my company's VPN in London, is being routed via São Paulo which is also weird :) (but that might be an Akamai thing)

Shouldn’t see any issues getting maxed out local tests- no issues on our side; can you check for any packet loss and open a ticket (include your lan test results so the team can jump straight to troubleshooting.

Happy to check out the vpn routing as well.

Ah ha. Yeah, I've been experiencing some issues where my dynamic DNS script is detecting the wrong IP.
That’s odd- I checked and you’re definitely on a public IP. CGNAT not happening at a BNG level so won’t affect any of your traffic. What IP is the script picking up?

Update, multiple NLD routes are currently down. Our engineers are working with a vendor to move traffic.
KZN Update: Services fully restored at 11:20am. Apologies for the inconvenience caused. So far we have confirmed NLD breaks on the FibreCo (near Ladysmith) and Liquid (near Germiston) paths between KZN and JHB.

It’s down for me again. Vumatel trenched, Durban. Been on and off today even after it was restored at 11.
