On a serious note- I’ll check the system email logs and see what could have caused that.Just got an account statement mail from Nov 2020..![]()

Evening. Sure. First thing, there's a large variation on the second hop (fyour dad's home to the BNG). In the test to 1.1.1.1, this hop (between router and BNG) shows some packet loss - possibly a backhaul issue or possibly an NNI issue. A backhaul issue would affect all ISPs. The second trace (8.8.8.8), shows no loss to the BNG, but the distance to the BNG seems to have increased 5 fold (as though the BNG endpoint has moved to another BNG with less congestion, in JHB). However, onwards from this BNG shows packet loss carrying through into Google's network. Doesn't seem to be FNO related though.@websquadza My Father in Port Elizabeth is having trouble with his vumatel line and would just like to ask if you could take a look at 2 MTR's he ran and give some insight as to where the problem starts? The ISP is supersonic with vumatel as the FNO.
Apologies for the delay here. Most likely power related. Saw some DFA POPs struggle today (unrelated). Looks like load shedding still has surprises for us. Vuma are quick to resolve power issues at POPs when they arise; so won't be an ongoing issue. My internet is down in Durban. Vumatel Trenched. Anyone else affected?
I think it may be due to load shedding and the backup system from Vumatel failing but not sure.
Edit: Back now
Thank You. I really appreciate such a detailed look at his line. He has put in his cancelation order and will be joining websquad in about a month.Evening. Sure. Came back on about 20 min ago. If it drops again I'll open a ticketNot seeing any issues this side. Can you open a ticket so the team can investigate?
Checking logs to see what ma have caused this. Looks clear now?
