Not Vuma
Dude, I have absolutely no clue. Didn’t expect this either. Maybe Vuma are being generous. I hope it stays like this.
@websquadza I'm quite interested in how you guys are going to be dealing with this nonsense: https://mybroadband.co.za/news/internet/303638-how-south-african-isps-will-deal-with-pirates.html
Hi @websquadza, just wanted to ask some questions. I am currently with another ISP and considering moving my account over to you guys.
1.) with your 1 gigabit account on Vumatel what is the international speed on this account. I know the 1Gbps is for local but what will the line speed be to Europe?
2.) With a speed of 200/200 on your network to Europe what speed can I expect to get in real terms. can I expect say more than 125Mbps on the line?
3.) If I wanted to move my ISP over to you how do I go about moving my connection to you and how much downtime can I expect during the process.
Thanks.
Also @websquadza, have you got any 'insider' info about IPV6 support on Vumatel?

Have they fixed their network yet? I've been following other threads and seeing the (slight) improvements, but also mixed results. Will check again...
Hi guys, I am getting a weird issue of 91ms ping to Web Squad servers in Cape Town from Johannesburg and pretty bad ping spikes in games (local servers), is there perhaps an issue?
Thanks for the update. We're seeing it too - it looks like the primary route is down and the failover route has these terrible latencies. We have escalated this to our JHB-CPT circuit vendor for further feedback.
