Can I trade in the two free months for free installation?
It's basically the same thing anyway right, definitely think the time for me to get fibre is now.Unfortunately not, this promo is exclusively for two free billing cycles on new orders.
"1Gbps customers will not receive a speed upgrade, as this is the maximum line speed. "
Dangit.. was wondering if we were gonna get 10 gig
PS. Yes I know the infrastructure probably can't cope.

Just to confirm if I signup now I won't be billed my first two months, even if they only install next month or even the month after, as long as I order now it will be the first 2 months free? That's it. If you take anything above 50 Mbps, you win.
Correct, well mostly. As long as the order is placed and activated before 30 April 2020, you will get 2 billing periods for free.Just to confirm if I signup now I won't be billed my first two months, even if they only install next month or even the month after, as long as I order now it will be the first 2 months free?
@websquadza what happens to 1gbps with this upgrade? I got effed in the a with Vox when vumatel "aligned packages and prices"
Will 200/20 be increased to 1000/100? or is it 1000/20? what happens to 200/200?
Will 1gbps drop from R1499 to R1449?
OK.. real issue. For the last few days youtube takes probably 10 seconds before it starts.... and then it starts on the lowest quality setting. Putting it manually on the highest setting works and it never skips/buffers.
Just me?
Vume trenched just up the road from you guys.
So this upgrade is temporary (April and May), and is being implemented by Vumatel. We're waiting for exact clarification, but from what we understand (this will be confirmed in an email to all existing clients):
10/2 > 20/2
10/10 > 20/20
...
200/20 & 200/200 > 1000/100 (no new packages will be created).
Billing on your service won't change and we will continue to bill you for the service you signed up for originally during these two months. Your line will just be upgraded free of charge for this period.
There won't be any price drops/adjustments, remember the 1000/100 @ R1499 is already a promo price from Vumatel & Web sQuad, so there will be no upgrades for existing 1000/100 clients..
Apologies, I started replying on this one and changed tabs... We saw a similar issue with Google's peering in Jan. I can't replicate it from the Office, but I remember it affecting various subnets differently. Will investigate it and get back to you asap.
Might be related. Google Play Music is taking forever....

For now we've spun down the peering session that gave us headaches in Jan, can you please check and update. We'll continue troubleshooting from our end.
TaWill ask an SDM to call you.
That's right, so for the price of 100 Mbps, you'll get 200 Mbps at no additional cost. (if you're on a 100/10, you get 200/20, and 100/100 > 200/200). This will only run for 2 months (April and May).

Struggling with a git pull myself right now. Looking into this. Forward route seems good. Reverse route is identical if I test from NTT Ashurn (hop 17). No congestion along this route from what I can see. But picking up on losses on the last hop particularly. So could be an issue that end?
