These traces show issues a little further upstream. We've escalated to our upstream for investigation. Good news is we have some new Transit capacity coming online over the next week or two. Updates to follow

Sounds exciting - any hints? :)

Getting tired of websquad. Whenever I use a download manager my international data gets blocked completely for about 5 minutes.
Happens after around 1gb of downloading.

Have you opened a ticket so we can track this?

We’re working on refining algorithms with our upstreams as well as ddos mitigation tool. We’ve increased limits quite a few times now. We don’t monitor individual clients, but use automated tools to assist in looking after our network for everyone’s benefit.

Whichever download manager is being used is breaking up packets into smaller and smaller bits and increasing packet volumes beyond what is reasonable for a single session- we’ve seen single session connections with higher packet volumes than an entire region. It takes a little work to get the balance of protection vs reasonable traffic right with the traffic profiles being created by download managers. But happy to try.

Done Terabytes of up and down,FTP,usenet, torrent and otherwise so not sure what you're doing to trip up flood sensors

It only began a month or so ago. Had 0 problems prior to that.

Networks,Antivirus and other protections are evolving constantly, what once was an innocent techology/method/protocol can turn exploitable
Can't browse the net on HTTP-only nowadays, worked fine once as example

There was a time when torrent traffic was flagged as abusive by many networks (due to the multiple connection nature to saturate line speeds) similarly to how download managers try to accelerate downloads to a degree
Might want to list what you're doing with what application and others can try replicate the results or spot anything obvious to turn down
I run a number of Webservers/services and there can be false positives, but generally the protections there do a good job

Thanks, downloading with Internet Download Manager through a Rapidgator account.

Filtering has been stricter since March as there's been a global uptick in baseline DDOS traffic across many networks. While I can't say much more about our strategies here, In general a lot of work is going on to make sure things run as smoothly as possible. To put things in perspective (with public news available), AWS fought off a record 2.3 Tbps attack just a few weeks ago.

I haven't seen any tickets come in for this issue. We'd like this so we can track your IP's traffic and see what set off the alarms and see what we can do to fix this for you. For now all we have is a handful of IPs setting off alarms; knowing which of those IPs is clean traffic (like yours) helps refine these filters and I don't know everyone's MyBB handle (as much I try to remember).

P2P is going all wonky. Dunno if anyone else is struggling? Tried from both Torrentleech and Torrentday. Both give a list of peers and then the traffic just dies/stops like its being blocked or filtered out? Any ideas?

Shouldn't be anything affecting P2P. We're not filtering any particular type of traffic.

Hi Web Squad

Could I confirm that IPv6 is available on Openserve lines (the website says dual stack just would like to confirm)

Also when I click on order under the 100/50 tab it seems to try order a 10/5 service

Cheers
