Web Squad ISP

You can try chubscvpn for valorant and fortnite to get lower ping to ME or you can try exitlag (i think) but it's ~R100 per month.
If you're a technical person and you like some typing then you can also set up your own vpn as well.
I did use express VPN when I was on my old ISP and seemed to do the trick, but I'll for sure give this a try and see how it works out, moved over to WebSquad purely because of the lower latency and the ping to EU is fantastic compared to my old ISP, but it was just my luck that when I moved over there was a fault and now have to use a VPN, but in any case it will hopefully be fixed soon.

Thanks for the info :)

Thank you, I am still sitting with over 200ms ping to any EU destination in Tarkov, anyway you guys could help and optimize for me? Thanks a mill. All my friends are able to play Tarkov abroad and I am affected by the 190ms ping lock.
Evening, just following up if the updated return paths look better?

Hi apologies for the delay, managed to test now, not sure if this is deemed better or not, it is no longer 200+ms ping to EU but still much higher than my friends get at around 185+ms:

Also, my Speedtest to Coreix in London is 20ms higher than it used to be, I used to get 167ms almost constantly for years but now in the 180s so something is definitly off and not just with Tarkov:

Talk about impeccable timing, the ME route has been fixed and is now up. Hope you didn't already pay for exitlag or a VPN :)

Looks like some additional return via Paris

Asked the team to run some community updates and will revert asap

Any known issues that would prevent me from being able to log into steam?
Not sure when it started but been unable for the last 30 mins. (Flushed my DNS and also restarted connection/ pc)

edit: and it's back

Possibly related to the azure outage if they’re using that for authentication? (Purely a guess- but I know that quite a few services have been similarly affected)

Thanks for the heads up, seems to be happening again so won't be surprised if they related.

Why would their transit be different on Websquad as opposed to other ISPs?
Valorant use a number of cloud providers from what we’ve seen (I stand to be corrected, but the IPs I’ve seen above seem to show multiple networks). AWS routes would be the same across the board for locally AWS peered networks, others would vary based on routes available to the particular destination.

What differences are you seeing tonight? Lon or Bahrain?

So just to add, I just paid for ExitLag (gaming VPN) and miraculously getting 160 - 170ms ping to London in Tarkov. So if I had to deduce, there is definitly an issue with route optimization

My bad, didn't see your message here. Was not a complaint, I was just asking because I was curious as the comment Cryptic dropped about the normal for most ISPs just confused me

Thats pretty normal Valorant uses AWS servers and their transit to London is 150ms vs the normal 141 you see with most ISPs.
