Hi guys,

If this post is in the wrong area, I am sorry, please advise or move it to a different area.

I have a client who is a client of WebAfrica.
He recently started having a issue with his email.
He has this issue on his phone and on this PC via Outlook and Thunderbird.
I have his mail account setup on my PC on Outlook and Thunderbird.
The same error is experienced on x3 devices, x5 mail clients, x2 different OS's and x2 different geographical areas.

Now I have phoned Webafrica. Support agent 1 wasn't interested and has no clue.
Agent 2 tried a bit more but still could'nt resolve the issue.
x2 Support calls has been logged and absolutely no response from WebAfrica.

Therefore I lay my moan on this platform.

My client can send a new email and receive emails.
However he cannot forward or reply to any messges.
He get a bounce back, the error is below.
If anyone has any advise, please let me know.

Thank you

Gideon

To give you a idea, I have be in IT for around 10 Years and currently work as IT support in a major industrial firm in our city. I do IT support to select persons after hours. The person I am looking after is a top medical specialist in our city.
I am not the best tech support out there, there are many more amazing guys and girls out there, but I know my way around and can hold my own weight.

With that out of the way, I have sent the screen shot of the error to Webafrica so they are fully aware of the error the client is experiencing. Tech one looked into and notified me, the client's account is not marked as a spammer, he is not black listed and his account seems in order.
Tech support #2 told me, he has seen this before with another Webafrica client. However he could not fix it.

I have logged x2 calls, x2 45m phone calls and Webafrica still cannot sort it out.

Thank you so much for the response, I appreciate your suggestion.

Thank you for that suggestion and I will look at the link work through it and advise.

But, the issue is on his Android phone and on this PC via Outlook and Thunderbird.
I have also setup his account on my PC on Outlook and Thunderbird.

Same result across on 5 devices.

I have had a similar problem since Friday and I've had zero success getting it going.

Our email is hosted by dedicated.co.za and while we're connecting to the internet through webafrica, we can't even ping the server. Switch to another ISP and everything runs fine. So cancelling with Webafrica.

Okay, so i have not changed a thing, now it is working again - stated by the client. I am going to set his account up at work quick and test form my side. I am 100% convinced this is something on webafrica side.
