Weight loss

Getting my Discovery Vitality Points for BMI is a nightmare. The last lady actually just told me that I deserve them, so she "moderated" my weight so that I fell below 25 BMI.

Any kind of muscle mass on a human just throws the BMI theory out. I am 6" , 87kg with a body fat of about 10%, but I am classified as overweight. Seems the Belgians didn't care much for hard work back in 1832 :erm:

Hmmm, I just did some calculations for my breakfast smoothie... 3487 Kilojoules, with 55 grams of fat :)

I havn't eaten any meals from Kuaei yet, I assume they serve just healthy food and all? I guess I will pop in there if that's the case.

No, nothing there is healthy, its just an illusion

Hold the phone, so Kauei just uses the "Healthy" sticker to their brand!! If that's the case, is there any restaurants that serve just healthy food?

Okay I think I will just get them smoothies there only.

can we start a paleo friendly restuarant list? or at least places that know about it.

If you like eating out, follow OMB and Sinbad very low carb, high fat, no sugar style.

You have to drop the carbs (and sugar) and look out as well for the hidden carbs, but you can eat the rest to your hearts content, go have a 1kg prawns smothered in butter or 1 1kg T-bone steak with creamy butter sauce topped with bacon, eat a whole chicken or 6 lamb chops with the fat, especially with the fat dripping, but don't have carbs and no fizzy soft drinks and no smoothies on the side!

I approve and endorse this post :D

Hahaha, thought the smoothies were healthy, turns out they not :D

Excuse my little blunder :D

1st lesson of nutrition - forget everything you've been taught about nutrition up till now
2nd lesson of nutrition - follow the science
3rd lesson of nutrition - see 1st

you didn't tell us what you were eating, besides I never knew you wanted to lose weight

I have only one plan: eat healthy and live healthy... no need to lose or diet when those are at work :p

Anyways I had a mango juice and chicken something salsa. Was actually quite good over just some steers or kfc and was about same price as what I normally eat at those.
