What apps do you recommend for iPad?

Still a newbie to the iPad, but my fav apps so far:

My top apps
Star Walk - simply awesome if you're into astronomy or simply want to showoff - take a pic of the sky and get info on the stars!
GarageBand - probably too good an app for me (if you're into creating music)
iChessPack HD - goodlooking interface with fics, icc chess servers (now if I can only get it to work :erm: )
Invisibility - to show off to friends
TED

My 2yr old son's fav apps
Talking Tom 2 (nuff said)

Bit of an odd way of doing it? Why not just use the remote app on the iPad and stream from the PC?

IIRC itunes must be running on your pc, hence splashtop to run itunes, then the remote app to stream.

You'll want Numbers for Excel viewing and editing. Pages is the Word 'equivalent' and Keynote does for PowerPoint.
