Why do you think the quotes will be any different? Should be very similar.

Do you think so? The Veloster seems like so much more of a student car whilst the 86 looks a lot like a sports car.
 
Wasn't the Veloster on that list of cars that US customers most regretted buying?

The 86 is a RWD driver's car...if you don't like cars please don't buy it.

The Velostar is a fancy looking every day car but nothing as special as the 86.

Neither is a student car. Student car is a Toyota Tazz.

Are you spending daddy's money on this? Where does the student car story come into it?

Insurance is all about value, they cost virtually the same. But if you are a student and driving either of these you are going to pay through your arse.

Well, not just that. Simple things like colour and make of car can affect a premium. Ever sat through that Outsurance assessment when they were doing the "we will give you cheaper car insurance or R400 back" thing?
 
Hyundai Veloster - Looks cool until you reach about 27-28.

Toyota 86 - More of an enthusiast's car. Will be cool until you're about 40.

Cactus on wheels: No.
 
Still on the search :(
I was so set on getting a W204, but the good ones would end getting sold so quickly.
Now I need to decide what other car I should get.
