What was your first car?

'96 Golf Chico. Sold it a year ago with 250K on the clock. I don't miss that piece of rubbish anymore, but when I had it, I was grateful..... and standing next to the road somewhere.

Unfortunately MyBB's app doesn't allow for a picture to be posted. "you may not have permission... Blah blah blah" Oh well...

A Maroon VW Beetle

It never died, it just faded away and landed like a turtle on it's back in the back yard. We used the engine and other parts to renew our other Beetle after 1 got married :-) This was in the 1980's
 
Long story short, this in my first car 1973 Renault 4L, the photo was taken when I went to fetch the car again after I'd sold it about 17 years ago, I'm currently trying to restore it.IMG_20120728_144342.jpg
 
My first car I bought in 1969 and it was an Opel Record with a 2.1 Chevy engine

A 1989 Fiat Uno, Maroon in colour, dont have pictures of it, not a photo enthusiast....sold it for R10k

Opel Kadett cub exactly like this one. Fell apart engine wise after 2 years sold it for 10K

Not original image, mine had nicer mags.

Hyundai was really a disposable car back then, lasted 130 000km and then everything started falling apart/off. Eventually loaned it to someone and then told them they could keep it.

Had some good times in it though.
