What was your first car?

I have no photo of my first car left. It was before the internet and I lost any and all photos I took before 2001 (they were all developed photos).

Anyway, that said, it was one of these. Not in nearly the same condition.

'97 Honda 150i Luxline I bought off my sister...my brother's father in-law is still running around in it.
 
1st car was a 2nd hand Peupeot 404 - think I roughly paid R950. for it. Wasn't much, but it took me from point A to B.

I had a Mazda 323 hatchback with 3 doors, just like this one, including the masking tape in the windows!
It was nicknamed EMILY and got me everywhere, with little complaints and hardly any petrol...
 
1975 VW Beetle 1600.

No photos, but the same blue/turquoise as in the photo below.

It was a half-an-"S" model. Rostyle rims, indicators in the front bumper & on the fenders. Fitted upturned slash-cut exhaust outlet pipes & a mean soud system - the doggy box made a lovely sub-enclosure :)

1958 Morris Minor. Took me to faraway places without a hitch. Not my car, but exactly the same as the one in the picture.

My mom's hand me down.
A white one though, this is a stock Wikipedia image.

Was a lovely car, 1300 and drove very well.
Drunk dude lost control of his car, spinning over 3 lanes and crashed into me...

Was sad to let her go.

Nice one Mybroadband. Create a public forum where people can post answers to their security questions. Are you going to ask "Your mother's maiden name", "Name of your first pet" or "The street where you grew up" next?
 
'67 VW Beetle.

I baught it for R5000, it ran 3 years without a service and was written off in a freak accident.
 
1987 VW Golf 2 door. (first Generation) It was a great little car and stayed in the family for many years.
