When colour becomes the deciding factor for iPhone's dominance

My Huawei was purchased directly from Huawei and updates are not restricted by network incompetence.

Unlike the Micky Mouse and poorly built iPhone, my phone supports a memory card!!
Reminds me of the guys in the 80s bragging that their cortina was a 3 liter. Doesn’t mean it’s a beast on the drag strip. But in their minds it was. Tired screeching but just no go!

I see inside these things every day! They are badly made Chinese junk!

People buy them for the so called status that goes with owning an iPhone, no more no less.

If you've got an old iPhone, open it and compare to a Samsung or Huawei.

No one I know buys iPhones for status. iPhones aren't even the most expensive phones you can buy. They literally buy it because it is easier to continue from their last one.

You say that iPhone users just insults people when challenged, but just go look at the comments here and most iPhone articles. It is generally other platform users that comes in and insults the iOS users. And it isn't like the iPhone users go into the Android/Huawei threads and say iPhones are better.

If you are happy with your phone, good for you. Most iPhone users are happy with theirs so just let them be.

why is this even a featured article?
I get that it is an opinion piece, but as a journalist, you owe it to your profession to be informed when writing piece for the public.

you sound like a lovesick fanboy.....

Also i think you should know if you tear apart an iPhone.... you get all samsungs hardware..... just saying....

You really shouldn’t sign up just to parrot the same nonsense as the other ignorant fanboys do…… just saying…….

No, many people buy iPhones as part of the Apple ecosystem, and for the software.

As much as I despise Apple as a company, I have to admire their commitment to keeping their mobile devices up to date - you will not find an Android phone that has been receiving major OS updates for six years since release. The closest you get are phones on the Android One program, which guarantees 3 (?) years worth of OS updates.

  • What size screen do you want?
  • How much built-in storage do you need?
  • Which colour option is your favourite?
Isn't that the ones you'd use for any device?

Many reasons, being able to put your music on there and transfer files and a big plus is not losing stuff when one is foolish enough to test that your phone really isn't waterproof!
well it's 2021... Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube music, youtube itself, soundcloud, just to name a few. I cannot remember the last time someone asked me to copy music onto a memory card.

And if you're really worried about not losing stuff from a water damaged device, there is iCloud, Google drive, dropbox, the list goes on.

Hipsters can evolve too. If it’s not vinyl then it’s SD cards.

Like all Apple fan boys, they cling on to what they think is an error for misguided points!

Not one person has commented on the poor build quality... The earpiece speaker on an iPhone 6 for example sandwiched between a poor quality flex cable! Don't mention battery quality!
So you're saying the 6 year old iPhones you're repairing are worse quality than the 2 year old Androids you're repairing?

What you don't realize your phone is subsidized by many things, like genocide for one.

I'm in tech and I don't trust or like Apple.

Translation: "Andoid Users are dumb, color blind and ignorant. In contrast iDevice fanbois are smart, like gay colors and have $$$ to spend"

I’m in tech and I don’t trust or like Google and Huawei.

I know many Android and Apple mobile phone owners. Neither are dumb. They also don’t have this massive complex about other people choosing a different brand to them.

Ps. I own an iPhone and a Motorola. Both are black. And I really don’t care if someone chooses a different colour:)
