he should go to bed, Yes, but YOU need to wake up.
stop wasting your time & effort in iburst threads, and start looking for a better ISP - its not that hard....
What exactly is it that I am wasting my time & effort in iBurst Treads?
So are you basically saying that all iBurst clients should leave and look for another ISP?
@ gecko : Calm down please.
Thanks.
well how much times does a bee need to sting you before you learn to get away from the hive?

On pricing as a general point, and outside of a generic 'we want everything cheaper', what are the suggestions from you guys?
Wireless package:
A R199 for 5GB month-2-month package (excluding modem),
then R49 per 1GB top up. R199 per 1GB top up is ridiculous.
You do that, you blow the competition away. (You gain more clients).
You asked, I suggested...![]()
Mod: "calm down, sir"
Gekco: "Calm Down? Im not breaking any rules!"
Mod: "calm down, SIR"
Gecko: "OKAY i'm calm"
Mod: "I said calm down, SIR"
Gecko: "IM CALM!!!! What is it with you People??"
Mod: "You People??"
asking a mod to explain himself is asking for it already - never question a man with a stick.![]()
It would seem that, from your recent posts, you're agitated because of what Jannie have said.
It is easy to say/post something which you may regret later, my advice is to chill out a bit, and think (carefully) of what your next reply will be.
You haven't transgressed, or did anything wrong so far![]()
We know where this idea will end up - in the corporates' trash bin.

am i the only one, that has noticed that under the new CEO iburst has been worse then ever?
and all he can do is TALK about fixing the billing system.
and TALK about what the customer wants in new deals.
So thats 9am-5pm, every day for 23 working days last month.
How about you go into work tomorrow and say "Ok boys, were changing the billing system today, have it done by 5pm.thanks."
and then you say to product "ok product, what are your best ideas?"
and then in 2-3 days once all the bugs are ironed out, you implement the packages.
AND 20 days left in the month... what to do, what to do. hmmm, staff training and competence training for maybe 2 days.Fire dead weight for 1 day.then promote shaun the next day.
hmmm 15 days left. what to do, what to do.
The bells and whistles are all well and good, but if I had to trade, I'd take more bandwidth any day. Yes, "We want more for less" really is what its all about. Bandwidth and price remains a big issue in this country. Everything else is smoke and mirrors to this. Its no use just talking about it in general terms like is just the way the consumer is anywhere in the world. The fact is that South Africans are sick of being fleeced in this regard (as well as with regard to bank charges, car prices, pipes, bread, cameras, etc). Telkom effectively stole from us for years and years and the feeling is bad, really bad, and consumers have become as cynical and suspicious about big business as they are about politicians. I'd take a cheaper Telkom deal if I didn't hate Telkom so much. And yes, it is Telkom we are comparing iBurst to. I don't even think about about the cellular oligopoly here.
And, please, keep it simple and straightforward. Compare Virgin money with any other credit card in the country: Virgin has a list of about 8 items while the rest have pages of it and each item is a bloody mathematical equation. Its classic price opacity. I hate the way Telkom rearranges its prices to make them look cheaper when they aren't - and then they bald-faced lie about it too. Anyone who looks out the window at the rest of the world can see its its a lie.
The way I see it, this is an opportunity for iBurst to show some leadership, swim upstream a bit, show Telkom up for what they are. iBurst will be pleasantly surprised by the wave of goodwill.
Thanks for listening.
